hawaii, connecticut, maine, wisconsin, new hampshire, massachusetts, vermont,
rhode island and ontario and b.r. handles the rest.]
-
how do i find out what you're promoting?
check out our radio
projects page.
- where do i send playlists/charts?
no matter who you talk to at Triage, send all charts and playlists to
charts@triagemusic.com
- can you help me get my music/band: in commercials, on t.v., on
commercial radio, on a record label, published, into foreign markets?
generally, no. we do RADIO PROMOTION and RETAIL DISTRIBUTION. we don't
book tours, manage artists, publish music, or otherwise represent artists,
singers, songwriters, bands, etc.
- i am at XXXX radio station, can i get extra copies of XXXX release?
we are in a rare position where we mostly promote import items and very
limited releases. thus, we cannot always accomodate everyone's requests
for extra copies, but ask and we'll see what we can do.
- we have a fundraiser coming up, can you send us goodies?
ask us and if we can help you, we will
- can i get on the guestlist for XXXX show?
sometimes it's possible, but please request 1-2 weeks in advance
- can i interview XXXX when he/she is in town?
often artists prefer to do interviews at the venue, if at all, before
or after soundcheck. contact us about interviewing touring artists 1-2
weeks in advance. if the artist isn't touring, it may be possible to set
up a phone interview.
- can i get XXXX to play at our radio station?
it's not usual for our artists to have the time required to visit a station
or do a live set, but sometimes it can be done. contact us 2 weeks prior
to a touring artist visiting your city and we'll check out the possibility.
- i have a label/release, will you promote my record?
first you must send us a cd or record to listen to and we'll take it from
there. we are always up for new and interesting music.
FAQ Sales & Distribution
- you do distribution?
yes, aside from radio promotion, we do distribution and retail marketing.
- can i buy records from you?
if you're from a record store, distributor or radio station, ask your
Triage rep about ordering records. if you're not sure who to talk to,
contact us. if you are not a record store, distributor or radio station,
please direct your browser to Other
Music, which is a store in NYC that takes care of all of our mail
orders.
- what's up with you and bubble core?
bubble core is a record label and wholesale distributor with whom we share
office and warehouse space in brooklyn. though we are entirely two separate
companies, we collaborate on many activities, such as promotion and distribution.
- so who does Triage distribute besides the Bubble Core stuff?
we are the exclusive or chief distributor of labels such as Trikont, S.H.A.D.O.,
Rectangle, and many others. if you are a record store or distributor please
contact info@triagemusic.com and
we will send you a print catalog and/or check out the order page
-i have a label/release, will you sell my record?
first you must send us a cd or record to listen to and we'll take it from
there. we are always up for new and interesting music.
